Solid brass money box slot
These innovative solid brass pieces are handcrafted and intended to create small money boxes, piggy banks or other forms of coin banks for children or adults.
They are meant to be nailed to a wooden box or money barrel with the small nails provided. As the slots can also be glued or otherwise attached to the surface, no holes are provided for the optional nails (although these can easily be drilled into the metal before attaching it to the box).
The money box slots in the Diamond and Oval variants are large enough to slip a €2 coin into the box and measure approximately 31mm in length and 5mm in width.
This is a wonderful little idea for putting a new spin on shell and hinged tins.
