Cane Grip - Handmade - Binoculars

This extraordinary walking stick handle weighs almost 350 grams and is made of solid brass. Equipped with dummy glasses, this replica of a marine telescope is a real eye-catcher whenever it sees the light of day. Although intended only as a decoration (it only provides very low magnification), it still has a practical use as the lens cap can be removed and the lens tube extended to a horizontal position, allowing any captain to have a stick in hand holds, has an easily deployable telescope to spot ships on the horizon. This is a truly magnificent piece of handcrafted art.

This handle weighs about 346g and is supplied with an M8 threaded screw and the head-handle connection (see image). The handle is approx. 58mm long and 1340mm high (without the connector).

As woodturners we often forget that walking sticks are also part of our repertoire and these are a wonderful opportunity to make something extra eye-catching. Walking sticks are fun, easy to make and create a very spectacular creation in a short amount of time.

These walking stick handles can be easily attached to an existing walking stick. The threaded bolt is a 5/16 inch (18x20mm) and therefore compatible with the WTTech WSI 5/16 wood insert screw. However, they are also somewhat compatible with an M8 thread, which allows 5-6 turns.

Multi-part walking sticks can also be made with our tailor-made Stick clutches which are also available from WTTech. Matching feet are also available here.

As with all WTTech kits, wooden and acrylic parts or other materials to be processed are not included. We leave the choice of material to you, the craftsman!
